Hitco designs Super efficient and economical air-cooled ceramic band heater specifically for the blower air-cooling process/applications on extrusion machineries.
Heater band is 60% open by perforated metal sheet, which ensure maximum surface exposure for better cooling. The heater band is covered with Blower cover for mounting the Blower. An advantage of air cooled over liquid cooled operation includes low cost, easy replacement, low maintenance, no leakage problem and uniform temperature control.

- Increased-cooling capacity is achieved by increasing the surface area of the barrel with specially designed Heating Cooling Elements
- The elements themselves are made from highly conductive ceramic material in a special design
- Fast delivery of complete units from 60mm to 300mm. Diameter without extra tooling costs
- Suitable for use at high temperatures
- Easily fitted due to simplicity of construction
- Uniform barrel temperature is attended by using entire surface area of the barrel. The heat is controlled by - cooling system. This see to less wear & tear of Screw/ barrel
- The units are available with inbuilt insulation 25mm thick
- Delivery complete with a metal housing incorporating the flange for the cooling fan and electrical connection box
- Maximum watt density = 60 watts/sq. inch
- Available with or without blower jackets
