Plastindia Foundation - Meeting with Mr Amit Shah, National President BJP

Mr K K Seksaria, President Plastindia Foundation & Mr Pradip Nayyar, Chairman On - Site Visitor Registration Committee PLASTINDIA 2018, took the opportunity to meet Shri Amit Shah, National President of BJP when he recently visited Kolkata on September 13, 2017.

Plastindia Foundation always champions the cause of Plastics in India. It has supported the initiatives of Government of India such as the Introduction of GST etc. However, many day–to-day Plastics Products used by “The Common Man” have been classified to attract 28% GST instead of 18%. This anomaly needs to be removed. Mr K K Seksaria & Mr Pradip Nayyar briefed Shri Amit Shah about the upcoming prestigious project of establishing Plastindia International University at Vapi, Gujarat and of our Triennial International Plastics Exhibition, Conference & Convention PLASTINDIA 2018 to be held in February 2018 at Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad,Gujarat. Shri Amit Shah appreciated the sincere efforts taken by Plastindia Foundation in furthering the interests of Plastics Industry. He also promised that he will try his best to support Plastindia’s efforts.
