For Sale - UM - 6472 - Coperion W&P ZSK 57 Compounding Line

One (1) Used Coperion extruder (Werner & Pfleiderer): ZSK57, 50 HP, unit was run at 400 lbs/hr. PP, screws: twin bi-lobal - diameter 57mm - co-rotating, barrel sections: Eight (8) sections with one (1) vented/plugged- all barrels Nitrided, electrically heated - water cooled, gear box: ratio 2.8:1 - output speed - plant ran at 320 RPM. Eight (8) zone temperature control panel with Digital controllers, individual zone ammeters, digital Dynisco die and barrel pressure guages, motor amp and motor RPM indicators.
Beringer WRP12V water ring pelletizing system complete with cutting head, water box, tempered water recirculatiuon system with reservoir, pump, and heat exchanger, and control panel
Witte two (2) separation screener, 10"w x 72"l, stainless steel construction.

This is an integrated system still in place in a lab setting that was closed down three years ago. The system was new in 1989 and upgraded in 1998 with little use after that. The extruder can take up to a 150 HP motor and would achieve production rates of aprox 1200 lbs/hr with such an upgrade. They did not need such out put so installed the 50 HP motor to get 400 lbs/hr PP.
The price includes cleaning and test running at our shop to verify operational status of the unit. It is in very good, low hour condition like most lab machines. There are a couple of repairs that need to be done to the Beringer recirc system and will be done before delivery.

There is also an Acrison dual component weigh feeder system available. This unit has programmable touch screen controls and is mounted on a mezzanine above the extruder.
