Optical Brightener / Plastic Whitener
Our optical brightener for fibers and plastics. In polyester fiber optical brightener imparts a pleasing "Whiter-than-white" appearance and gives more intensity to some colours as well. Optical brightener is a permanent brightener since it is dissolved in the fiber during polymer manufacturing. This product gives much better retention of brightness over long time versus other methods such as bleaching or surface treatment with topical brightness. Optical brighteners also works well in polypropylene fibers and plastics and in many other polymers including application usage are as under -
Usage - It can be used in almost all kinds of plastic viz. LDPE, LLD, PE, HDPE, PP, HM, PVC, SAN, ABS, Nylon, Polyester, Polystyrene, HIPS, PE, EVA and Masterbatch filled polymers and plastics.
Optical brightener powder is available in two different particle sizes, regular and pulverizes.
Appearance: Light yellow powder
Solubility: Souble in Hydrocarbons, Ketones other organic solvents
Heat Solubility: Product is stable upto the temperature of 310 degree Celsius
Whiteness Shade: White-P gives natural bluish lusterous shining to opaque plastic. It gives bluish shade to transparent plastic.
