W.R. Grace & Co. has licensed its UNIPOL Polypropylene (PP) Process technology to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).

Located in Rasayani near Mumbai in Maharashtra, India, the proposed world-scale capacity UNIPOL PP facility will produce 450,000 m tpa of propylene. BPCL intends to manufacture phthalate-free polymer products for the Indian market using the most advanced PP process and catalysts technology available.
