Consultant for CI, Printing and Flexible Packaging Machinery Sourcing and Commissioning:

I have spent practically the entire of my working career of over 40 years in manufacturing environment, dealing with manufacturing of machine tools, consumer products, petrochemicals (polyethylene and other hydrocarbons), packaging films for flexible packaging applications (blown and cast film process), HDPE/ PP woven sacks, converting of paper bags and mailing envelopes (bankers / manila etc.) and converting of hygienic tissues (facial tissue, kitchen towels, hand towels, toilet rolls, serviettes etc.).

The job particulars dealt with are fabrication, maintenance and project implementation.

During first part my career I was working in India, a major portion of which was with M/S. Union Carbide India Limited. Subsequently I spent a major part of 25 years, mainly in the Middle East and partly in Africa with close interaction with many of the technology leaders in the Western Europe and Scandinavia.

In course of my job I had initiated a number of projects for expansion of the existing line of business or for diversifications. While many of the machinery involved during such course of action were new, a good number of them used to be from the used machinery category.

Apart from that I provide project consultation in the following fields, including project implementation and commissioning of machinery in the
- Plastic film production and converting for flexible packaging application.
- Woven polypropylene sack manufacturing.
- Hygienic tissue paper (facial tissue / toilet rolls / kitchen towel etc.) converting.
- Paper bag and paper envelope (air mail / manila / bankers etc) converting.
