17th May 2022-SBI Mechatronik GmbH, Austria, a manufacturer of high precision Thickness Measurement and Control Systems for plastic extrusion industry is pleased to announce the acquisition of IVA Machine Vision Systems Ltd, Belgium. IVA Machine Vision Systems is well-known for their Web and Area Inspection Systems using Machine Vision Technologies.
With this acquisition, SBI Mechatronik aims to provide its customers a complete solution for Extrusion Thickness Measurement and Control as well as Film and Sheet defect detection capabilities.

Group CEO Siddharth Lohia states “We are very excited about this acquisition as it goes towards our philosophy of developing advanced software solutions and creating marketing and operational synergies in the group.
